  1. Hey Andrew, how do you deal with losing your definition while bulking? I didn't know ectomorphs could lose their abs too haha. I've been bulking for a while now but I keep feeling bad about how my abs are starting to turn smooth.

  2. Hey Jeremy, to be honest it doesn't really bother me, I’m just happy that I’m out of the "skinny" zone, if you get what I mean. Haha. But yeah, you will just have to accept that you can't get big without losing some definition. If it really does bother you, then you can try "clean" bulking which is eating enough to maintenance your weight. You will gain muscle at a slower pace, but it will minimize your fat gains. This was the method I used around midyear of 2011. If you check my midyear progress, you can see a visible 6 pack and definition in my muscles.

    Anyway, you might have better genetics than me, so “clean” bulking might be a good method for you. You’ll just have to try it and see for yourself. :)
